Hi guys and girls 🌼 How has your week been? I hope it has been a wonderful week for you. I have used the week to make the converse slippers I showed you in the last post. Since the las post I have adjusted the pattern several times, taken up the work I have made some numerous of times, and I also had to do the one pair over again. I am so lucky to have children who give me good ideas and give me constructive criticism to the work I have done. I took that in to consideration when doing the best to get the slippers as nice I could. This will, this time, probably result in perfect slippers 👍🏻 I only have the shoelaces on one slipper left, so later today I will go and get som more yarn to finish it. Then, guys, I will pack them in and they are finished to go to the cute receivers 🌼 I hope I will be able to take pictures of them wearing them - and I will share with you.
I really have not taken a break - I have started making a shall. It is an easy pattern and I will post pictures when I am finished with making it. I have named this shall, Julia - after a sweet girl I was blessed to get to know. I am making it in her favorite color, purple, and with big blue/gray-ish roses on. Well, that's how I can picture it in my mind, so hopefully it turnes out beautifully 🌸 There is more, but I have to have som secrets 🌼 I hope you have a great week! Kari

Hi guys and girls! After feeling that my face is getting a bit dry from the winter weather, I have granted my self a spa day 😍 My face is full of cream and I am sitting in my favorite place in the living room doing crochet (surprise 🎉 )
I have had to watch different tutorials and combine them ore make them different. It also helped to look at pictures I found on google. The first one always takes time, then I have a pattern, and the next one I usually make adjustments on. The third usually is perfect, and takes shorter time. My head has been in this patterns the whole weekend and I haven't had time to write on my blog, make a cake for family-evening tonight - witch I promised - or relax. Well, you guys, the weather is great out to day (not a usual thing where I live), so I have to enjoy it when I can! Hope you all have a nice day - and make something that you have fun making - don't stress 😉

It has been rough, and crocheting has cept my minde occupied on this instead of the challanging things going on. In this prosess I have made this blog, created videos, posted pictures of my creations on instagram and I have "opend" this channel on youtube - or started to use an old one (no idea how I made the channel ages ago...). Underneath you can se the video. Hope you like it and subscribe to my channel. The channel is also fearly new. I am going to make lots of fun videos of the easy things I crochet! Good luck <3 Happy new year to all of my readers🎊🎉 I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year celebration! We had family over for Christmas Eve. In Norway this is the day we open our gifts, and boy do I love this day, and I got so many nice gifts this year! I have a passion for yarn, that has come over the last 3 years. I also feel I have another understanding of yarn too, sounds so silly, but I can't explain it in another way🤣. This year I got a lot of yarn from my parents for Christmas. I got this orange wool yarn that I am going to make a cardigan out of. You see it in the picture to the left. This cardigan I am making for myself. I think I have written it in my blog before, but I will repeat it, I hardly make anything for me... I have always given the things I make to other people. Don't misunderstand, I do like to give it away too - but now I feel I can't give away the things I make with the yarn I have got for Christmas 😆 It makes it easier for me to keep it😉 I have started the cardigan. The pattern is simple and beautiful. One thing though; I have to be concentrated when working with it. I can watch TV or talk with people, but I have to focus more than usual to avoid mistakes. I follow a video on youtube for this pattern. She is fast and I don't always understand her english that good. My goal is to not give up! Yesterday I had to do the whole thing over again - and I wasn't to happy about it! So, one of my new year resolutions this year is not to give up when starting on a project. Well, you guys, dinner doesn't make it self, I have some buns to put in the oven. We are all getting hungry. After supper it's is back to the sofa to continue crocheting the cardigan. Have a nice Sunday🧡 Kari P.S.: I will post a picture when I am finished with the cardigan.
